Elvis and Some Rolling Stones Cover Songs

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

Been working on some cover songs over the past few days. Haven’t really played that many before. Just having this sudden urge to learn and play some songs that really rock. Jamming on The Rolling Stones ‘Satisfaction’ and Elvis’s ‘Jailhouse Rock’ and ‘Hound Dog’, has been so much fun, I can tell you. Even Skid Rows ‘I remember You’ and Guns n’ Roses ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’, while not easy songs to sing, have been really great fun to let off some steam. You might hear some of them in some upcoming live shows.

Melt Much Like A Mountain

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

However it ended up building up to a more rock guitar driven anthem like peak, much like the mountain you see below. Produced by Danny Simcic, who also added the nice celtic harp you hear in the outro. Also this bit of news just came in ‘warming could attract sharks to Antarctica’  and this news as well on
