Dream Song R’n'B Love Ballad

Friday, July 18th, 2008

This is becoming a habit. Yet another song came through a dream. This time in the form of an R’n'b ballad, a very contemporary mainstream sounding love ballad (think, Chris Browns “hearts all over the world”). Funny thing is, I don’t know how to make that kind of music. Yet there it was? The main hook of the song written in a dream? I have attempted to figure out what the chords are on the acoustic guitar while trying to keep it sounding exactly as it was in the dream.

The song is called “I’m Into You”
Luckily the name for this one came with the dream.

Lenny Kravitz Fuels Dream Car Song

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

Twice this week including yesterday morning I woke at 3.am with a tune in my head. Had to get out of bed and go into music room and hum tune into a recorder, otherwise it would be lost by morning. Learnt from past when did not record and lost them by morning. The first dream, I managed to turn it into a full on song and hopefully be able to finish it today. Kind of a Lenny Kravitz type of song. (in the dream I was driving an old car with a old style radio in it and was singing along and feeling the groove of this song that was on the radio)

There is no name for the song yet..but here are a few lyric lines to maybe help you get an idea

Some of the 1st verse
I don’t wanna go to school just play guitar take me far
I dont wanna be in peak hour looking at the sour train faces for another hour
…………
………..

Chorus
Woah oh oooooooooooh
Here we goooooooooo
Down through the straight
Both hands no brakes

you can see the Bridge and the rest when it’s done

Cloud Finger

Monday, July 7th, 2008

Was just outside the house on the weekend. When I looked up I see a cloud giving everybody the big finger. This is what was left of it by the time I ran inside and grabbed the camera. You can still make out the fist and finger.
