We’ll, having just stated earlier that I wasn’t going to record anything until, I learn’t how to use this new equipment in the studio and the software etc..better. Also, the newish song called “Eye of Love” was supposed to be the first song that I would record in the new home studio. Yet this is now not the case.

You see, while trying out the guitar amp plugin, this riff just happened to jump out and get in the way. I just had to get it down as best I could with little exp.. that I have. Anyway, here it is, in all it’s pretty rough mix glory. Be called something like “Cold Man of Steel’ or “Man of Steel”, something like that.

Starting to get more of a handle on this technology, in pro tools. Itching to rush in a start making my first song, but I’m restraining myself this time and learning as much as poss first. This here is a Guitar Amplifier plugin that I’m currently trying out. Man, this is such great fun to play with and even though they say it sounds just like a real amp, I’m surprised..it actually does, it’s even got the hiss/hum of a real amp.

Welcome to another new day! These bushfire benefit shows have been put together by Melbourne musician Alex Legg (this is his Fire Resistance Myspace page) . Of course seeing as these unfortunate bushfires have not long happened, the full details of the shows are still being finalised. Stay tuned, more details to come.
