A Blade of Grass

Springtime starring at the tiny daisies
Rolling down the hill with bare feet
Stung by a buzzy bee
Now Sundays always feel as lonely
As the drone of lawn being mown
Somewhere in the distance
There’s lightning in the sky you’re not alone child
There’s an angel at your feet she knows how you feel
She whispers in your ear you’ve gotta face your fears
There’s light inside the dark listen to your heart you’ll see
There’s a fluffy dandelion blowing in the breeze
And a red and black ladybug
Climbing through the leaves
Pick a blade of grass and on your back you watch the clouds go by
See the tops of the pine trees bend
Hear them whoosh in the wind
There’s lightning in the sky you’re not alone child
There’s an angel at your feet she knows how you feel
She whispers in your ear you’ve gotta face your fears
There’s light inside the dark listen to your heart you’ll see you’ll see
Yeah eh yeah
The bright white lightning bolt cracks the sky
The thunder booms and the rain falls down
It makes the sound of a thousand horse’s hooves
On the loose galloping on your roof
You gotta wait this one out
The storm clears away your doubts away your doubts oh yeah
Now everything is still and quiet as a stone almost
Just a few soft drips
And the chirp of a sparrow
Raindrops sparkle and glitter in the sunlight
And reflect your smile so you will know
You’re not alone you’re not alone

I totally get this song. When i listen to it, i think about laying the in grass and just thinking about everything..the future, present, everything. But the song brings up the question: Will I act on what has to be done?
Its amazing at what nature can make us feel. thanks for sharing Russ!
