Now that a little bit of sunshine has come along my way will I let it stay I drive forever I don't mind where the road winds it's a glorious day

Im taking my chances on a new life
And for some reason everyone I
Tell finds something wrong with it
The champagne clouds disappear over the hills and
Their shadows speed up the mountainside
And it seems as though the Grampians are watching me
Knowing every turn that I take
A bunnie zigzags by the side of the road its white tail looks
Animated agitated by the dust from my wheels
I pour some bottled water down this dry throat

And all that I want to leave behind
Seems to follow and find
A way to track me down

And I don't know if it's company
Or something more
Redmans Bluff sits over my right shoulder
It's cold the day when it's fading away
Gets cold when the day fades into night
Another yellow and black road sign fly's by
The day now fading away
