Things are getting very sinister with search engine companies just lately. I downloaded a program which never mentioned upfront. That also inside this program, it contained all these other programs that it wanted to sneakily put on my PC, until I got to the very last step of the install part.  So I uncheck those to not install them of course, coz I never wanted them in the first place. But it goes and installs some other hidden Yahoo thing anyway (even uninstalling it does not get rid of it).  So now Yahoo has hijacked my PC and does this (view their sneaky tactics here at ‘Marketing Pilgrim’) every time I use it.

This is what their unethical message says

Alert: Your browser search service settings have been changed or disabled, do you want to fix the search settings and change it back to yahoo? (Don’t you just love the way they word it. Using words like ‘fix’ and ‘change it back to yahoo’) It was never broken or set to Yahoo in the first place.
